Collection of River Shipping

The newly founded Collection of River Shipping has, at the moment, 56 items. These include the helm of a tug boat, various types of ship lamps, anchors, and lifebuoys. Also in the collection are other parts of ship equipment such as stakes, wooden and metal mallets, and ice saws. An especially interesting item is the outboard engine made by the Robert Bosch Company in the 1920’s.

The Auxiliary collection consists of film material, documents, and photographs associated with navigation, ships and life on the rivers of the Serbian Danube area.
